Young Statement on Martin Luther King Jr. Day

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Senator Todd Young (R-Ind.) released the following statement in advance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day: 

“Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will forever be remembered as a great American hero, a custodian of hope, and a man of peace who challenged our nation to love one another and live up to our founding principles. Along with countless others who bravely led the Civil Rights Movement, his words helped us become a more perfect union,” said Senator Young. “This Martin Luther King Jr. Day, I encourage all Hoosiers to remember his legacy.”
